Akli D
Akli D is a Berber performer and songwriter born in rural Algeria. He combines North African Chaâbi music and the folk traditions of the country’s Kabylie region mixed with everything from the American protest song to the Mississippi blues and more.

Amadou and Mariam
It's now 28 years since Amadou Bagayoko and Mariam Doumbia met in Mali and started making music together. Both are blind and they met in 1977 at the Institute for the Blind in Bamako, where they were both studying Braille and found themselves performing together in the institute's Eclipse Orchestra.

Axiom records
Axiom is a label started by Bill Laswell. His musical amalgamations include Bootsy, Buckethad, Bernie Worrell, Pharoh Sanders, and many many others. This site is well designed with information about the music and the people behind the music.

Bonzo Dog Band
Although rare and hard to find, Bonzo Dog LPs will bring a chuckle to your soul as you listen to the band that parodied everything from art to the Beatles to society in general.
