Rajasthan, north of Gujarat, south of Punjab, west of Pradesh, and east of Pakistan. We took a 10 day road trip from Delhi to Bikaner, ,Jaisalmer, in the west, before heading back east to Jodphur, Pushkar, Jaipur, Agra and back to Delhi. Maria was more impressed with the landscape and the 500-1000 year old forts of the Maharjas and Moghuls. I was unimpressed as most of the tourist attractions are in a state of serious disrepair. Their poor condition is exacerbated by lack of maintenance, and further impacted by air and water pollution. November 2004.
